| Subject: Tyrant (T-103) Mon May 11, 2009 11:23 am | |
| Perhaps the most important breakthrough in the Tyrant programme for Umbrella, the Tyrant (T-103) represents the ultimate goal Umbrella had been seeking since their inception. A programmable, bio-organic weapon capable of withstanding enemy fire, and most importantly a relatively easy creation process. Earlier tyrant models had been notoriously difficult to create due to the lack of compatible hosts. The T-103 was so successful that it spawned nearly all of Umbrella's future Tyrants. The origins of this model come from Sergei Vladimir, who, as a compatible subject was cloned 10 times by Umbrella. The numerous clones were shipped out to every branch of Umbrella that requested them, and many variations ensued such as Sergei's personal Ivan bodyguards. A mass-production program was also commenced on Sheena Island using the cranial fluid; beta hetero nonsertonin found only in the live brains of teenagers. The process of this mass production was carried out on Sheena Island under the command of Vincent Goldman. This model proved to be a major improvement over the previous T-002 model. The T-103 was a much more applicable B.O.W due to it's capacity to follow commands to a much greater degree and carry them out relentlessly and efficiently. Physical improvements included a lack of any exposed organs which served as a major weakness for the T-002 model. The T-103 also featured an improved metabolism over the T-002, leading to an accelerated healing ability, allowing it to withstand more damage. The coat which all T-103 models are equipped with is a defensive mechanism as well as a limiter aimed at controlling mutations caused by the T-virus that would otherwise cause the tyrant to transform into a Super Tyrant. This form boasts many improvements over the default stage. Claws sprout from the tyrant's hands and their speed and agility is boosted immensely. However, there is an increased risk of losing control over the tyrant due to the virus' nature, and as such this form is reserved only for when the situation becomes too desperate. | |
