Hypnos T-Type

The Hypnos T-Type was developed on Sheena Island using a similar method to that of the main T-103 series. By adapting the genetic makeup of the host and cultivating the Tyrant gene with different materials, a Tyrant can be engineered differently. However, the process is not always accurate, and results can be unstable.

Despite the success of the mass produced Tyrant 103 program, the researchers on Sheena Island were given the instructions to begin developing a more ferocious Tyrant that could also be mass produced and be used as a Bio-Organic Weapon. Vincent Goldman was one of the key figures involved in Hypnos development.

One of the major improvements between the standard T-103 model and the Hypnos Tyrant is the limiter coat, which is now unnecessary and not equipped on the Hypnos Tyrant, which sustains it's mutations much more effectively than a T-103. The Hypnos will still mutate if enough damage is taken, but the resulting transformations only grow stronger and deadlier. In the end, Hypnos was defeated three times before finally being terminated by a total of two missiles from the escaping Ark Thompson's helicopter.

The destruction of Sheena Island presented the loss of both the mass-production of T-103's and any research on the improved Hypnos variant. Development on this Tyrant was therefore dropped.
